In 2016, Shady’s action-comedy spec script SAVING CHARLIE CHAPLIN made the Black List. In 2017, he directed a live-read event of the script at the Montalbán Theater in Los Angeles. The event featured actors Paul Reubens, Jon Hamm, Thomas Lennon, and Randall Park, among others.
Shady has also written children’s books, comics, and graphic novels including THE ROBERTS, which he also adapted for film.
Throughout his career, Shady has written numerous spec features, pilots, and shorts.
